Balboa was a chamber opera, for bass flute and drums with two voices, written by ? (composer) and Bennett Theissen (lyrics and staging). The musicians were double bass Jim Bergman, flute Scott Villiger, percussion John Seremula, and the singers Michelle Rosen and Dennis Goodwin. Written summer 1981, staged at Club Soda fall 1981, and taped for video February 1982.
